Our materials are sourced truly from Nature
Our materials are derived entirely from nature.
The selection of appropriate materials is central to each collection and, in many ways, the most important aspect of the design process. Every material in a Prana Mukti product is vegan and has been carefully chosen for its long-term viability.
All materials are chosen with conservation of natural resources in mind, and we prioritise organic, plant-based, recycled, circular, and cruelty-free options. In addition to material DNA, our team seeks out responsible suppliers who share our values.
We continue to explore and test the industry’s newest and most innovative materials, ensuring that our material list grows with each collection.
Inspired by nature to promote natural materials, with this core we have bundled a few materials which we are infusing to craft our product.
Made of Merino Wool Felt
Wool felt is environmentally friendly, renewable, and 100% natural!
Wool felt is a natural product, and its manufacturing process has a very low environmental impact when compared to other man-made or natural fibres.
We at Prana Mukti convert merino wool felt material into luxurious products that are dyed with OEKO-Tex dyes to ensure that they are non-toxic and free of harmful chemicals.
Made of Coconut Bio Leather
Coconut Bio Leather is a flexible, long-lasting material compared to leather or paper. It is water resistant and contains no artificial ‘nasties,’ so it will not cause allergies, intolerances, or illness. It is an entirely vegan product.
It is a true companion material of Prana Mukti products, dyed with natural colours.
Made of Cork from Portugal
Cork is a completely natural, renewable, and biodegradable product that is both fashionable and environmentally friendly. Its production causes no contamination or harm to the ecosystem from which it is extracted.
The most natural form of cork fabric has been handpicked and beautifully embellished with other materials.
Made of Very Natural Hemp
Hemp production uses far fewer chemicals than cotton, making it more environmentally friendly and naturally more suitable for people with chemical sensitivities. The fibre is completely biodegradable, holds its shape as good as polyester, and breathes well.
At Prana Mukti, we took the raw nature of hemp and created a product with no bleaching or fabric dyeing.
Each Product has been designed with careful thoughts.
Our products boast a minimalist look that will pair well with any capsule wardrobe.
Our design process prioritises ensuring the longevity and durability of our products. At the same time, when designing products, we always strive to use sustainable, low-impact materials with a minimalist approach.
Prana Mukti products are of the highest authentic quality and attention to detail because they are handcrafted. We handcraft each piece with great care using centuries-old techniques.
When you buy from Prana Mukti, you are supporting not only a business, but also a maker and a dream!
Product goes back to the soil where it come from.
Rather than continuing to be a top five polluter, accounting for up to 10% of the global carbon footprint, we believe fashion can reverse its impact on climate change and inspire other industries to do the same.
We reduce our environmental impact by managing our supply chain and carefully selecting the materials that go into our products. The majority of the materials used are highly renewable, plant-based, and biodegradable, with many of them being third-party eco-certified. This ensures that our raw materials are sourced and processed in a sustainable manner.
Products are designed to biodegrade when the time comes, usually after their useful life.
